Добрался, наконец, и до нового альбома Grave Digger 2020 года Fields of Blood, я, конечно, мельком его послушал, когда он появился, но как-то не оценил, показался он мне несколько скучноватым. А сегодня послушал во флаке с хорошими наушниками, и теперь с полной уверенностью скажу — это вещь! Grave Digger — достаточно древняя по нынешним меркам группа, образовавшаяся в Германии ещё в 1980. Альбомов было множество, перечислять не буду, могу только сказать, что наряду с Helloween и Hammerfall именно эта группа повлияла на моё увлечение металлом. Достаточно мелодичная и невообразимо эпическая музыка в мощной инструментальной обработке просто вселяет энергию. Grave Digger можно рассматривать как эталонный образец классического спида и пауэра. В истории группы было несколько распадов и возрождений, взлётов, падений, смен музыкантов и многого другого, и очень радует, что коллектив продолжает нас радовать великолепной музыкой, и это определение в полной мере можно отнести и к последнему альбому.
