Шведская группа, исполняющая симфонический металл, представлена вокалисткой — бывшей моделью с труднопроизносимым именем Madeleine Liljestam, гитаристом Rikard Ekberg, по совместительству также вокалистом, ударником Jesper Sunnhagen, басистом Anton Helgesson, гитаристом Jay Matharu. История группы началась, когда в конце 2011 года генеральный директор Cardiac Records услышал в социальных сетях голос этой певицы и по совместительству профессиональной модели, работающей с такими брендами, как Elegant Curiosities, Odium Clothing, Heartbreak Tattoo. Так началось сотрудничество двух людей и последующее создание группы с одноимённым названием. В 2014 г. они выпустили дебютный альбом Eleine, в 2018 — другой полноформатник Until The End. В настоящее время они работают над очередным диском. Достаточно приятная музыка, по достоинству оцененная как критиками, так и слушателями. Недаром группа выступала на поддержке у таких монстров, как Arch Enemy. Скажу так — не особо доверяю голосовым данным моделей, но тут, пожалуй, исключение, очень приятные вокальные способности у девушки.
Hailing from Sweden, Eleine has been across almost half the globe playing their symphonic metal and spreading their word. With heavy riffs, enchanting vocals, brutal growls and symphonic arrangements that so seamlessly work together, Eleine has proven that they’re worthy a spot amongst the great. After releasing their debut album «Eleine» in 2015, they played several shows in Sweden and the following year they released their single «Break Take Live» along with a music video. The single and video got a massive response and that led to a successful European tour as support for Moonspell.
In 2017 the founding members and songwriters, Madeleine Liljestam and Rikard Ekberg, launched their own record label, Algoth Records, and began working with Black Lodge Records and Sound Pollution Distribution. In September 2017, before they went on tour with W.A.S.P.,
Eleine released the single «Hell Moon (We Shall Never Die)», accompanied by a music video. Later that year Eleine visited Japan for the very first time and played at the Loud & Metal Mania festival in Tokyo.
February 23rd 2018, Eleine released their second album «Until The End» and received praise from both critics and fans. During the first week of release it reached the #1 spot in the Swedish album sales charts and in March the album was released in Asia by the label Marquee Inc./Avalon from Japan.
2018 was also the year that Eleine was supporting act for Arch Enemy in Sweden and the year Eleine had their first headline tour in the UK.
